Who is the seminar for?
The Seminar is aimed at families and others involved in the care of
children and adults with all forms of Batten disease. Interested
professionals are welcome to attend should they wish to. Organised
activities will be provided for any children who want to attend.
What are the aims of the day?

To provide an update on current genetic research in to Batten disease in
the UK
-
To examine the medical care provided for people with Batten’s disease in
Holland and the lessons that might be learned from it.

To provide workshops for the exchange of information and experience on
practical issues such as social work access, benefit entitlement and statementing.
How much will it cost? - £30 per person (to include
buffet lunch and refreshments)
