BDSRA Adds Staff Position

BDSRA has added the part time position of Coordinator of Family Services effective June 11, 2007 . The position is being filled by Amy Kirk, MSW, LSW. Amy graduated from Bowling Green University Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Social Work, became a Licensed Social Worker and graduated from Ohio State University on June 10 with a Masters in Social Work. Amy is originally from Toledo , OH and now resides in Reynoldsburg and has recently become engaged. She enjoys walks, shopping and reading.

The principal duties of the position of Coordinator of Family Services include helping families to locate and obtain services and programs from Federal, state and local sources,work with the Chairperson of the Education Committee helping parents with education matters, develop “Daily Living Skills” programs for children, and help parents with transitioning from school to other programs.

Amy will be attending the conference in Rochester and looks forward to meeting and talking with everyone.
