Special AnnouncementLeena Peltonen, PhD, announced at the Seventh International Congress on Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis in Dallas that the gene for the "Finnish" variant of Late Infantile Batten Disease has been identified. The gene is located on Chromosome 13 and has been named CLN5 and maps to 13q21.
